Texas is Green Again

Knocking on wood... It seems the weather folk
have been a bit off their "dry" winter forecast ... so far. The winter wheat planted along our route today is looking very good.

Nice to see green again.

I hope they are wrong and Texas gets some rains. I heard a story on the radio about possible well water rationing in Texas where they were hit so hard by drought and fire. Yikes! We are on a well and never thought about how our use of it could be rationed.

So glad to see you have some green again!!! Perhaps the weather predictors are wrong again :0)

I think that green is just winter weeds! ;)

We drove to Dallas today, and the lakes are down so far it was unbelievable! But, I am thankful for the rains we have received. So much more than last winter, so I'm hoping, too, that the predictors are wrong. But, it makes me wonder how much rain we will need to get back to 'normal'.

Oh, it's beautiful!! Yay! We've got gray skies and light drizzle here today...hoping for at least 1/2" by the end of the week. Hope you get more too!
