Dropped off dinner for my sweetie and got to see this fabulous sky on the drive home. Driving west toward Fort Worth.

Rare Sight

Yes, I have seen the moon and Venus before - it's just it is a rare event to peek out the front door and 12 porch lights are not lit. This was taken on the night setting.

The tripod is in storage so I took about 50 photos and came up with these two. This photo was taken with the auto setting - you can actually see the "earth shine".
