Where Are the Lights?
The weather has been a bit dreary misty (ain't it great!) the last week or so and has put a damper (sorry) on our Christmas light stalking. So here are a few bits I have found to put me in the spirit.
These homeowners have a website: Forney Light Show
For my sweetie... (he is addicted):
Don't think you have any of those "tacky" light displays in your neighborhood? Click on the link to check and see:
Misty drizzlies are supposed to be over for us today. Maybe we can get out and scout some real stuff.

Holiday Lights in the Hospital District
The "hospital district" (as there are more than a half dozen in this area) is mere blocks from the loft. Got a glimpse of tonight's subject recently on the evening's news and I knew immediately I would have to go by and get a photo for this year's light tour.
Cook Children's Hospital main entrance has recently been completed. Nutcrackers greet you on the roundabout and a beautiful light show timed with Christmas music.
Another tree in the prayer garden (or labyrinth). Beautiful landscaping by spotlight, will have to stop by and admire in the daylight some day soon.

Finally, The Lights
It is the 8th of December and I have yet to post any Christmas lights photos. Where has the time gone? When my mother-in-law was here over Thanksgiving we did go to the parade downtown and I got a few photos.
We got up to a really great perch and only got run off once. (MIL and husband kept looking over their shoulders as I kept saying "Just act normal." I am a bad influence.)
Great perch for viewing but not so much for photography. Here are the marginal ones that make today's cut.
