Dame de Coeur. The color of my photo does not seem quite right. Should see blood red - this seems a little orange to me. Hopefully it is my monitor.I have always wanted to be able to cut a big bouquet of roses. It seemed like an unattainable dream here with all the cutter ants in the yards. Looks like the right amount of chemicals, organic fertilizers, a lot of heat and lots of rain seems to be the trick.
I just could not help myself. I cut over 20 roses. The bush (one bush) was covered and some had already fallen apart.

The color does look orangey-red to me. They are absolutely gorgeous! I can only imagine how wonderful they smell.
I forgot to say there is no fragrance. Beauty has its problems sometimes.
the roses seem more on the orange red side than the blue red side to me also. Does not take away the beauty.
