The reason for 3 cameras. Overall the camera phone is handy and is good for some close up photos. The Olympus does not seem to capture the right shade of green. I suppose I could change some settings. The Sony captures the greens very well.
First is from my camera phone, no zoom.
Left is with my Olympus UltraZoom (ancient model from 2005.)
Right photo is from Sony Cyber-shot.
All photos taken standing in the same spot. All photos taken at the same time.
This is from my camera phone holding the camera close to the flowers.
First with the Olympus, second from the Sony (using the Macro function)
Then the ultimate test.
When I discovered the blooms on the Orchid Cactus - I wanted to make certain I got the shot.
I took photos with all three cameras.
First with the camera phone.
Left is with the Olympus, right with the Sony.
The reason to keep the Olympus. Really captures any light available with out using the flash.

I enjoyed that whole exercise. And then you also have to take into consideration that each of our monitors will interpret the colors a little differently.
Yes, I think I like the pics taken with the Olympus better. The Sony too, but goodness, they're all great shots!
I think I have learned that every camera has its advantages. Just have to make the most of the one you have on you when the photo moment happens.
