Full Moon Update

Got this photo at 6:45 a.m.

Took the photos in the dark as the moon was in and out of really fast moving clouds. I did turn my hummingbird wind motor around for Cheri.

Humidity continues today. Most of the first photos looked like this.

At 7 a.m. 81 degrees and 83.7% humidity. Ughh.

I am in love with that plant. Thanks for giving us a look at the hummingbird motor, it is really cute. You totally get a point for that.

Thanks for your kind words. I was glad for auto-focus camera and its work in the dark.

Those photos are just so neat! Your plant is identical to mine. Do you have yours growing in a pot? I thought I saw some growing from the ground. And what is that other plant growing around it like ground cover? Maybe a vine, as it seems to rise up next to the Cereus.

Yaya, I am embarrassed to say this is a cluster of potted trees with some tall "horseherb" (weeds) growing around the bottom. If you look closely you will see an orange tag on one of my two cherry trees I potted up from bare root this spring.

The little side branches are from the Forest Pansy redbud which is planted in the square pot in the center. This square pot seems to be the place I put all the "babies".

As you can see the orchid cactus "baby" finally took off. It has gotten so tall it is laying over onto the ground.

My backyard is out of control. Beautifully blooming now, but out of control.
