Bucolic - Deserves Another Day

GardenWalk GardenTalk brought the word "bucolic" center stage as her "Word for Wednesday" this week. So my posting of photos from our trip gives "bucolic" another day in the sun.

These are such great pictures! I live in the Midwest and these areas are not far away, and still it stops me in my tracks. (It's a little piece of 'American Gothic' without the poker-faced mom n pop.) ;D

Great post, Tufa Girl! (LOVED your guest photos on Quarry Garden Stained Glass. What a wonderful blog. Thanks for the introduction!)

So glad you did this post. I was hoping others would pick up on it. I was thinking a weekly post on a different word in pictures, maybe a meme. You have great photos of the word, bucolic from around the country on your trip. That part of the country has great examples. Karen told me bucolic was right outside her door and there is no doubt.

Can you tell I'm behind in reading posts? I loved this one! The scenery you have shared is amazingly beautiful. I love all the 'quilt' barns and the churches. There's another town near us that lines the street with flowers, too, and I'm always amazed at how well they keep them up.

Gotta love Bucolic!
