For Karen

A side to Nascar that most do not see - the haulers entering the racetrack.

The previous year's champion always enter first. Trucks then enter by the current points order. Although, this is not how they entered this time. Not certain what happened.

We did not go to the races this time but plan on going to the Indy races in June. I am saving my pennies for the "Great Weekend in April" event next weekend.

I'm saving my pennies too, except for the money I spent today on a new pair of sneakers. Can't go viewing Texas in a raggedy old pair of sneaks.

Oh, thank you so much for this post! This is certainly a side of racing I've never seen before, I didn't know they were supposed to enter by rank. I've gone over and over the pictures; can't decide which rig is the fanciest, love the horns on the Red Bull tractor and the Fed Ex extra-large box. I'm going to show this to our eldest son who is a die-hard racing fan; I know he'll enjoy it too. Amazing pictures, tufagirl, thank you so much!

I just thought to tell you, my business in Pennsylvania was in the Penske complex. Talk about cool. I met the racers, was in the complex to see the cars and and watch them race cars on the trial track. I even sat in a car. It was so fun having a warehouse right next door. That is how I went to Daytona and Indy. My ex was a real fan.

Karen, probably would not have posted these photos but since you mentioned you were a fan...

GWGT - I imagine watching the Penske team at work was pretty interesting. I have only been to Texas and Las Vegas races. I want to make it to Daytona sometime.

Just had to let you know our whole family enjoyed the pictures. Amazing how much money goes into the sport, those trucks are really impressive.
