Much going on but nothing really exciting to blog about. I had to work on Easter Sunday (ain't retail work grand?), my mother-in-law was in town for the weekend on her way to Oklahoma. Monday finally got in to see the eye doctor to check my new glasses. They were just a little off. Seems my bifocal line is too high and I wear them too far down my nose for my prescription. They have to be sent back. I miss my old eye doctor - he always knows exactly how to do this the first time. Worked outside around the loft garden - FWDirt.
So, my excitement for the day -- 2 juicy cherry tomatoes ready for picking. Hope y'all had a great weekend.

I'm jealous...tomatoes already and all I have is overcrowded plants waiting for the garden to dry out enough to be planted :(
Oh, boy, that sure looks good to me right about now. Last year my tomatoes looked like they were growing in a swamp due to our wet weather and I think I ended up with two from my fifteen plants. This year isn't shaping up to be much better. Enjoy those delicious tomatoes for us all.
I can't believe you have red tomatoes already. You know I had the same problem with my glasses, small lenses too far down my nose. Now they work.
Carol, you guys have had far too much bad weather lately. I'd ask for some rain but when it rains it floods.
Karen, I am watching all those seedlings in your greenhouse. I would gladly exchange places for some soil moisture.
CR, it has been warm and sunny in this window. Weather outside has not been as friendly lately.
Oh, ripe tomatoes! Yippee! Mine have little green ones -but no red! Good to see yours are ripe. Enjoy them!
If I could send you some gentle rain, I'd gladly oblige, we've had over seven inches since April 1. I well remember the drought we had three years ago when we couldn't squeeze a drop out of even the most menacing-looking clouds. I know, everybody complains about the weather but nobody does anything about it. It's time we take a stand!
Can't believe you have tomatoes already! so incredibly jealous. My tomatoes are just seedlings, hanging about the window sills hoping for a scrap of sunshine. At least 3 more weeks until they can go outside with the big boys.
That is an impressive bunch of tomatoes! I've got some Phoenix tomatoes, but being a larger variety, they aren't turning red just yet. You're lucky to have some so early!
