Backyard Lighted Snow Globe

Temps into the low 30's last couple nights and no wind. Three 250 watt chicken brooder lights are keeping me about 50 degrees so far. I may have to get some bubble wrap if the wind decides to blow this winter.

Our temps got almost UP to 30 degrees. Nasty cold. I love your Lighted Globe. Is it working?

You globe house is actually kind of pretty but what is about the poor little non-favorites standing on the outside looking in?

I haven't yet put any kind of light heat source in my greenhouse although we've been in the 20s. Are you using an ext. cord or do you have electrical sources there?
Does it run up your bill much?

I was afraid you were going to notice the "non-favorites" looking in. They actually can take the weather and they are on the south side out of the wind. If it gets real cold - or for any length of time I will mulch around them with some fluffy leaves from the neighborhood.

Of course it is about 100 degrees in there during the day but I am still holding around 50 degrees.

Since this house has only 4 breakers I figure I can afford the electricity since I am not running anything in the house. Example - do not turn on the microwave while the refrigerator is running or the kitchen goes dark. Luckily we have a gas stove.
