4/17/07 outside Stonewall Texas

My idea of a meadow. Fields full of Texas Bluebonnets. After all the refreshing rains we have received here recently this year promises to be full of beautiful blooms again. If you have a chance schedule a trip to the Texas Hill Country sometime in April and experience these fields yourself. (Bring your camera.)

Gardening Gone Wild Photo Contest this month is on the American Meadow Garden.

Oh so beautiful. My kids and I just moved to New Braunfels, so I'm looking forward to the spring wildflowers. With the rain we have had lately, I'm sure the flowers are going to be gorgeous!

Have a great day!!

Beautiful, I have never seen bluebonnets in person. How spectacular.

Lovely! I hope to be in central Texas the end of March. So I'm hoping the wildflowers will have started by then!

I've been wondering when those bluebonnets will be making their appearance. Hopefully we can make a trip to the Hill country when they are in full bloom. Hope you let us know!

Stunning! Between your post and Pam's regular posts, I do think a visit to Texas would be fun. A bikeride in the spring would be fun, looks pretty flat...
