Molly Glentzer's Diggin In blog is a place I love to visit to view her roses. I stare at awe at the tiny trellis her 'Peggy Martin' is starting on. Quickly I realize she has plenty of room for 'Peggy's' impending growth spurt. I scroll down and learn about snails.
This possibly says it all at our house:
'A gardener picks up a snail and tosses it as far out into the street as she can.
Days go by.
Doorbell rings.Gardener answers.
It's the snail -- who says, indignantly, "Well, what was THAT about?"'
Seriously, there are good snails. Read about Molly's experience at her blog.

That is too cute. I'm going to have to use that one on a gardening friend. :)
I agree - that was cute. But as snails go - I like the cement kind.
Funny, and yet I pose the question: how did he ring the bell?
I just got it!
LH - you must come to Texas and see the ones that slime up the side of the house - usually before a rain. Sometimes when they make it to the eaves of the house you know to get the ark out.
