My sweetie and I had been spending a bit of time at the in-laws senior community. Looking across the main courtyard complete with pool and shuffleboard courts I noticed the "complex". I believe they are called Purple Martin gourds made of some lightweight material not true "gourds". No Purple Martins in sight - I think it may be just a little early? Not certain really.Do you have a bird house photo to share with the world?

Martin houses yes but also pig heads which is odd and somewhat disturbing.
I tried for a long time to attract purple martins, never did have any luck.
They do look like pig heads!
