Friend from work was carrying around Mary Jane's Farm Magazine (Aug-Sep '09) "Savor the End of Summer by Pitching a Homemade Tent" which included instructions. Or buy the following book at Amazon.

Camping out in a tent would be fun if you can fit a regular bed in there. It's hard getting up from the floor in the morning when your bones begin creaking. :)
The Mary Jane magazine was cute as this group of women go out and have an outdoor camping event each year that looks quite comfortable.
I am not sure that is camping. That looks more like an elegant overnight lawn party. In which I would wear a lovely tea dress and perhaps a great hat... and then in the evening I would wear a full length night gown with a flowing matching robe. Oh and those slippers with the feather pom poms.
Ooooh la la. I suppose s'mores are out of the question.
